Thursday, April 3rd, 2008Description: I just recently had a chance to try a Camacho Havana for the first time. My local shops never carried them and after getting a couple from a friend I was on a mission to hunt down a box.
A Honduran Puro, and contains Corojo Filler and Binder like many of Camacho’s cigars. The Criollo wrapper mellows this cigar out a bit leaving just short of full bodied.
Each one I’ve smoked has been well constructed. They tend to run a bit softer than most cigars and typically have an easy draw. The wrapper doesn’t have any noticeably large veins. I picked up a hint of leather on the pre-light draw check. (more…)
