Visit Camp Camacho!
Come visit the home of Camacho Cigars in Danli, Honduras.
Experience an intense seminar of the cigar making process, from seed beds through the finished cigars and boxes.
Trips will be available for RETAILERS on the following dates:
January 21st-24th, 2009
February 4th-7th, 2009
February 18th -21st, 2009
**A trip will be available for CONSUMERS on March 1st-4th, 2009.
You must contact Camacho Cigars and check for availability prior to purchasing your airfare. Trips will be limited to 25 people per trip, and there are no exceptions. All trips must be booked by December 1, 2008.
Breakdown of the journey:
You will be greeted at the airport (TGU) and driven to Camp Camacho in the Jamastran Valley. All accommodations, meals and transportation will be taken care of by Camacho. You MUST have a valid passport and/or visa for Honduras and cash for tips and souvenirs.
Day (1):
- Meet at the airport and transfer to Las Lomas guest home
- 7:00 PM cocktail reception and dinner
Day (2):
- 8:00 AM breakfast
- Visit the farms, seed beds, fields, and barns
- 12:00 PM lunch
- Tour of fermentation and sorting rooms
- Round table discussions
- 7:00 PM dinner
Day (3):
- 8:00 AM breakfast
- Visit the post-crop and sweat rooms
- Tour the box factory
- 12:00 PM lunch
- Factory tour
- Excursion to the local town of Danli
- 7:00 PM dinner
Day (4):
- 7:30 AM breakfast
- 9:30 AM return to airport
