old-camacho-brochure

The other day we were digging through the archives here at Camacho and we stumbled on this piece of history. This brochure is from the days when Simon Camacho, the Cuban originator of the brand, still owned and marketed the Camacho name. Simon was exiled from Cuba in 1961 and soon thereafter set up shop in Miami to continue making the Nicaraguan version of the Cuba’s famed Camacho brand. >>Click here to view the brochure

Havana H2

Camacho Havana H2 is one fat and powerful smoke. It’s not as kick-a$$ as the Camacho Corojo Monarca, but they still are quite full-bodied. Regular cedary and spicy flavors make it a nice 40-minutes short smoke.

Appearance :

The wrapper is quite dark and of modest quality. The cigar fits nice in hand and the band looks good.

Camacho Havana Monarca Cigar Review @ CigarJack.net

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

Description: I just recently had a chance to try a Camacho Havana for the first time. My local shops never carried them and after getting a couple from a friend I was on a mission to hunt down a box.

A Honduran Puro, and contains Corojo Filler and Binder like many of Camacho’s cigars. The Criollo wrapper mellows this cigar out a bit leaving just short of full bodied.

Each one I’ve smoked has been well constructed. They tend to run a bit softer than most cigars and typically have an easy draw. The wrapper doesn’t have any noticeably large veins. I picked up a hint of leather on the pre-light draw check. (more…)

Camacho Havana Video Review @ StogieReview.com

Wednesday, November 15th, 2006

During one of my trips to the local cigar shop in Reading, I picked up a couple of Camacho Havana’s. I just happened to find the last one buried at the bottom of my travel humidor and thought it was about time I smoked it. Prior to this review I have smoked several of these cigars over the past few months. Much like the Torano line, I am a big fan of Camacho cigars and looking forward to smoking one whenever I get the opportunity. (more…)
